Gold Coast Titans halfback Kane Elgey has been named the 2014 Dally M NYC Player of the Year at this evening’s Dally M Awards in Sydney, despite his side finishing in 15th place.

He wins the award just three weeks after being named on the bench in 2014 NYC Team of the Year, capping off a fantastic year for the half.

A co-captain of the club in 2014, Elgey finished the season as the Titans’ top try scorer and top point scorer.

Elgey recently signed his first NRL contract with the club and will join the team’s first grade squad for pre season training before Christmas.
