Player of the Week
Tom Wright (Manly Sea Eagles)
Now in his second year of Holden Cup, Manly five-eighth Tom Wright had arguably his break out game against the Raiders on Sunday. The Clovelly and La Perouse junior was crucial in his side’s 16-point win, scoring two tries and setting up another two. He was almost untouchable in attack, running for 138 metres, making three line breaks and breaking nine tackles in a great performance.

Rookie of the Week
Reed Mahoney (Parramatta Eels)
Sunshine Coast junior Reed Mahoney has been a revelation off the bench for Parramatta in 2017. Averaging just over 60 minutes a game, Mahoney has been able to get through plenty of work in that time. Against the Warriors, he made a line break, set up two tries and made 51 tackles in his 62 minutes of playing time.
