Player of the Week
Phillip Sami (Gold Coast Titans)
Phillip Sami returned to the NYC in Round 16 after making his NRL debut the week before, and showed why he made the step up to first grade after putting on a dominant display against the Tigers. The fullback scored twice, ran for 226 metres and broke a whopping 14 tackles in his side’s 28-14 win at Campbelltown.

Rookie of the Week
Zac Lomax (St George Illawarra Dragons)
Backing up from a tough under-18 Origin game (where he kicked five goals and a field goal) mid-week, Zac Lomax put forward an impressive shift in his side’s close fought 21-16 win over Newcastle. The centre scored a try, ran for 163m, made 20 tackles and had two line break assists in the victory.
