Schoolboys win first Test

The Australian Schoolboys have won the opening fixture on their tour of New Zealand, defeating the NZ under-18 Select side 26-18.

The visitors lead 26-6 at one stage before the Select side scored two late tries to put some pressure on their Trans-Tasman rivals.

The Schoolboys will play their second and final game against the New Zealand 18s side on Saturday September 30, 11:30am (NZT) at Trust Arena, Auckland.
